You've been writing tickets your entire career. JIRA, Linear, Notion, GitHub Issues. You describe what needs to happen, someone reads it, interprets it, asks three clarifying questions, misunderstands the answer to one of them, builds something close to what you wanted, you review it, request changes, they push a fix, you review again, and three days later the feature ships.
That workflow made sense when humans were the ones reading tickets and writing code.
Humans need context. Humans need to ask "what did you mean by X?" Humans need to look at related code and figure out how things connect. Humans get tired. Humans go to lunch.
AI agents don't do any of that. They read your entire codebase in seconds. They don't need to "ramp up." They don't need a standup to understand what changed yesterday.
But here's the problem: you're still writing tickets for agents like they're humans.
